The Days of some Slaves

Starr: It burns, it burns so bad.

The wound started to sparkle, sewing itself close with the magic blood.

Melissa ppicked her up and rocked her "Go to sleep" She ordered softly

Starr grabbed onto her, crying at full force. Eventually, she fell asleep in her mistress's arms.

Melissa held her close and didn't let go "I love you so much...you're my best friend..."

Starr slowly stopped whimpering, and calmed down enough to stay silent. She clutched onto Melissa's shirt, refusing to let go.

Melissa smiled softly "Someday, I'll give you freedom"

Starr was fast asleep, and really didn't hear her. Her breathe was relaxed, as she hugged up against Melissa.

Melissa sang softly to Starr, then froze and gasped. She touched her belly and said "Crap..."

Starr shook her head a little, somewhat awake.

Starr: Huh, what?

"I think...it'll be early..."

Starr's eyes lit up.

Starr: Is the baby coming?!

"I hope not"

Starr's eyes changed back to normal.

Starr: Well, what do we do?

She put Starr down then headed to the couch

Starr closed her eyes and concentrated. She grew wings, and hovered in the air. She landed on the couch, then waited for Melissa to sit.

Melissa slowly sat down, then laid down

Starr got up so she could lay.

Starr: Can I get you a blanket or something? Water?

"Yes...both..." She said, gasping "I'm only seven months along...this shouldn't be happening"

Starr quickly flew through the house, getting the needed supplies. She handed her the water, and put the blanket on her.

Starr: Oh, what do I do? I haven't delivered a baby before.

"Call a doctor" She said softly and drank the water a little then dropped the class "It just broke...CALL A DOCTOR"

Starr nodded, then flew over to the phone and called 911. About ten minutes later, a doctor and a nurse came rushing in.

Doc: Alright, let's see the damage, shall we?

Melissa was gasping for air "I-I'm scared..." She said softly then screamed as the head started to come out

After a little bit, the baby was crying. Starr peaked her head from behind the couch to see if it was done. The doctor smiled, then handed the baby to her.

Doc: You did a fine job. And congrats, it's a. . .

She held it close, smiling "A boy..." She relaxed "Since I'm sixteen...and he was born early...will there be any problems with him?"

The doctors smile grew a little bit.

Doctor: Well, normally, it depends. But, you being a vampire and a werewolf, I say the chances are pretty slim. There still could be, and I recommend you bring him in every now and then. My house is a couple houses down, I can do it for free. Other then that, congrats.
