The Days of some Slaves

"Tell me"

Josh took a deep sigh, then explained his story. In the weeks before, Josh started hearing information on his parents, but they were only rumors. When he was searching for Melissa for the week, he found a slave that belonged to his mom, which led to his encounter with her.

She sat down next to him and listened, keeping quiet

He explained on when he got to her, what he found out about his father, and how he and Lucy killed her.

Melissa sighed and continued to listen to him. She loved him deeply and wanted to hear everything.

He finished his story, and starred at the floor quietly.

She hugged him tightly, "If you EVER do that again I will kill you" she was clearly worried. "Next time tell me"

Josh remained silent, then he got up.

Josh: I need to be alone for a bit. . .

She frowned and let go, "Okay..."

Josh nodded, then disappeared out the back door.

Melissa sighed softly

Josh was sitting in a tree in the forest. He had his eyes closed, meditating.

Melissa was looking through his mind

Josh: Hmm. . . Why would she look through my mind like that. I just want a place to keep to myself, but no, she has to invade my privacy. I don't go poking around in her personal life, so why the hell is she doing it to me by reading my mind? Actually, it is quite impressive that she managed to learn telepathy.

She sighed and said mentally to him I CAN'T CONTROL IT

He jumped back in surprise, falling out of the tree.

Josh: Fucking Christ, Melissa. Don't do stuff like that.

She was silent

Josh: Rule one of telepathy, don't scream.

She ignored him

Josh: So, first of all, I'm sorry I said that. If you couldn't control it, then it is not your fault.

She continued to ignore him

Josh gave up on talking with her, and started to doze off.

Melissa sighed softly
