Gwn and Vannessa

"You might have to take her with you" Johnathon said, "Otherwise she'll wake up and cry"

Gwyn: Alright, I will.

He picked her up, and carried her to his room. He tucked her in the bed, and waited for Alex to come in.

Vannessa slept soundly, relaxed

Eventually Alex came in, and they started talking with each other.

Vannessa started to wake up

Gwyn: No, absolutely not.

Alex: You have to eventually.

Gwyn: Yes, but not now. . .

Vannessa was curious as to what they were talking about

Alex: Come on, dad.

Gwyn: No, end of this topic.

He sighed deeply in annoyance, then looked up at Alex.

Gwyn: If there is nothing else, then please leave. I have some paper work to do.

Alex took a deep bow, then left the room.

"What were you...talking about...Daddy?" Vannessa asked wearily and coughed

Gwyn turned to look at her, and gave her a small smile.

Gwyn: Some old stuff, nothing too important.

"Please tell me Daddy"

Gwyn: I will tell you when you are ready, Vannessa. For now, you need to rest.

"Okay Daddy...love you"

Gwyn: I love you to, Vanessa.

He gave her a small hug, then sat next to her.

She relaxed and said softly, "Daddy...one of the scientists came"

Gwyn: In the forest? Well, that's not too good.

"Daddy I'm scared"

Gwyn: It's alright, I won't let them hurt you.

"It hurts..."

Gwyn bit his thumb, and dropped some of his blood on her wounds.

Gwyn: It will ease the pain a little, but not that much.

She curled up, tired

Gwyn laid next to her, petting her head.

She closed her eyes, tiredly

He petted her, humming lightly to help her sleep.

She was soon asleep. There was a bang at the front door which woke her up.
