Braysen listened. "I will teach her otherwise.." He said dully. "I can teach her that kindness it love, and pain is anger.."

"How?" he asked, "By beating on her and raping her?"

"No.. By not doing that." Braysen looked at the therapist. "I know how she feels.. and you can change someones mindset over time.. But you have to give me that time.. A mental hospital will not help her.. I guarantee that.."

"You can't put a broken person in a place of broken people.." Braysen sighed. "That is how the best of friends are lost.. I can't allow you to take her.. Give me some time.. Come over every day.. But do not take her.." Braysen was getting defensive as he spoke.

"I can't allow that...she'll be safer there"

Braysen went into the room and sat in front of Lillian. "Do you want to learn something new?" He asked, sitting criss cross.

"Yes Master," she said in a soft voice, fear in her eyes

"First new thing," he said smiling softly. "No more calling me master. Call me Braysen, or Bray." He put his hand softly on her knee. "Okay?"

She was terrified

Braysen moved his hand. "No more calling me Master." He smiled softly. "Promise?"

She whimpered

"Can you hold out your hand, palm up for me Lillian?"

She didn't

Braysen nodded then stood. "If you don't listen I have to let the doctor take you away.. I don't want him to take you.."

She whimpered

"Do you want to go where you can only see me for a little while a day?" He asked looking down at her.

She started to cry

"I need you to answer me Lillian." He said, firmly but not mean.

She was terrified and confused

"Nod or shake your head. Do you want to stay here?"

She shrugged

"Do you want to see me everyday?"

Braysen stepped back to give her some space.
