The Days of some Slaves

Melissa rested her head on his shoulder, "Lucy is so going to kill us"

Josh: Naw, She will just nag at us for a while. Well, me, for putting you in danger.

"And me for not telling you much about the men...she'll kick my ass"

Josh: What is that suppose to mean?

"Well...um...they are more powerful than you"

Josh: Eh, I can take them. Maybe in a couple of years, but I could.

"No you couldn't"

Josh: No, you are probably right. But, I'm pretty good at escaping from people. I'm just glad I didn't have to fight them.

"Me too..." she said softly, tiredly

They arrived back home, and Josh brought her back to her room so she could rest.

She got off Josh's back and laid down in bed, "I need a heating pad..."

Josh exited the room, then came back with one and handed it to her.

Josh: Here you go.

She put it under her back, then moved to plug it in

Josh grabbed the plug, and put it in for her.

She relaxed as it heated up, "Thank you love"

Josh: No problem. Need anything else?

"Not right now," she said softly and smiled at him

Josh gave her a light kiss on the nose.

Josh: Well, Lucy would want to know where we were. Wish me luck.

He exited the room and walked over to the kitchen to get a drink.

Lucy threw him against a wall, "I AM GOING TO KILL YOU"

Josh: You seem angry. Is something wrong, Lucy?

"YOU PUT HER IN DANGER"

Josh: Ah, you see. This was a request of my mistress, and as I slave, I am legally obligated to follow her orders.

"NOT THAT ORDER..."

Josh: I know teleportation magic. She was never in any danger.

"Yes she was...those men can destroy magic unless it comes from hell"
